Los Angeles Gothic to launch in one week

On September 20th, the first installment of Neon Nocturne will be available for purchase after a 5-year labor of love. The novel, set in the mid-1990s, centers around Morgana Scriven, a young Vampire and fledgling reporter living in a bizarre and dark world. Morgana finds herself undercover as a sex worker when the story of a missing teenage girl by the name of Chrissy Donavon lands on her desk. This story will lead her down a twisted path, encountering thuggish Vampires, urban witches, and the Hollywood Elite themselves. Though none of it will prepare her for the dark truths she’ll uncover, the secrets of cosmic consequence that will pull her in like a black hole, giving her little to no chance for escape from the truth.

Truth and lies, love and lust, death and carnage will be uncovered, and Morgana will become intimate with it all. This surreal and fantastical thriller will take readers on a rollercoaster of emotions as secrets and betrayal begin to unfold, and the allure of a sensual and macabre underworld becomes irresistible to our heroine. The only question that remains is: will she find Chrissy? Or succumb to the darkness?

Author Elizabeth Jeeves makes her debut with Los Angeles Gothic and promises an exciting and titillating experience that’s bursting at the seams with colorful characters, intrigue, and lore of a world not unlike our own. This is merely the first installment of a five-book series, and is the first half of the “Profaned Duet”, Neon Nocturne’s first story arc. As well, Ms. Jeeves has a series of shorts she hopes to publish here and through Amazon in the coming months to keep the intrigue flowing before the release of the sequel sometime late 2026.
